About the 5th edition
From the early days of his group, Les Charts, in the 80s to his latest solo album (Centre ville, released in 2020), singer-songwriter Calogero has been churning out hits for 35 years, and for many he is now ‘the boss of French pop’, and a worthy successor to Michel Berger and Jean-Jacques Goldman. Calogero has also written for Florent Pagny, Grand Corps Malade, Johnny Hallyday, Françoise Hardy and Pascal Obispo. An absolute Beatles fan, Calogero is also a film buff. After setting the music for the TF1 series Flics, in 2010 he wrote the soundtrack for Marc Esposito's feature film Mon pote, before collaborating with Francis Lai in 2019 to compose and orchestrate Claude Lelouch's "Les Plus belles années d'une vie", the sequel to "Un homme et une femme".
